The Yellow Cayenne Pepper originates from the Cayenne district of French Guiana in South America. Along side the Red Cayenne and Asian Birds Eye, the Yellow Cayenne pepper is probably one of the most known and used chillies worldwide. The pods are 8 to 10 cm long. They are thin fleshed and can be eaten green or yellow.
