The NuMex Twilight Chilli is a real beauty and one of the most unusual varieties of chilli peppers developed at New Mexico State University. It is a hybrid of the Thai Ornamental Chilli. The Numex Twilight chilli fall under the same level as the Cayenne and Tabasco peppers. So these chillies pack a deceiving punch. This is a beautiful plant with upright cone shaped pods measuring around 10x25mm. The pods start purple and then change to yellow then orange and finally ripen to a red.
